About JLN Plumbing, Heating, Electrical & Renewables

James has over 20 years’ experience in the Plumbing & Heating Industry. James is also a qualified husband, father of two, triathlete and three time Ironman. James keeps a close eye on everything that goes on at JLN, and although we now have a great team of middle management, James is still always right up to date with the latest in Plumbing & Heating, and what this means for JLN and our customers.

Claire is married to James and has worked for JLN since 2013. Claire has over 20 years’ experience running an office and Customer Service & Finance department. Claire oversees all financial activity in the office at JLN HQ and looks after HR. Claire also makes the best tea at JLN by a mile!

Faye has NVQs in Customer Service and Business / Sales Management. Faye works at JLN HQ and also from our satellite office in Nuneaton and has been with us since 2015. Amongst other things, Faye runs our social media campaigns, competitions, and accreditations, as well as ensuring all runs smoothly at HQ. In support of Mental Health and Wellbeing Faye has recently completed a Psychological First Aid (PFA) qualification. Delivering psychosocial care in the immediate aftermath of emergencies, including infectious disease outbreaks.

Rich joined us in 2023 and helped set up the electrical division at JLN. Rich has years of experience in the domestic, commercial and industrial electrical industry and we’re really glad he’s chosen to share his knowledge with us at JLN. Rich has been responsible for us gaining our NICEIC accredited installer status and runs all of our electrical works. Rich enjoys running, triathlon and the occasional ice bath!

Kerrie has been with us since January 2017 and is already a highly valued member of the team. Kerrie comes from a very different employment background, but one where Customer Service and attention to detail were equally as important as it is here at JLN. Kerrie is a keen runner and enjoys spending time with her family.

Paul has been in the plumbing & heating/building industry for 35 years. He has experience working for both small and larger firms and has also worked for himself, Warwick University and on numerous building sites. Paul started working with us in Jan 2021, after just 1 day as part of our team we went back into lockdown and working from home but Paul has been on the phone with us every day and his favourite part of working for JLN so far is the friendly atmosphere and being part of our team.

John is our award-winning Senior Engineer. He has won Apprentice of the year, Institute of Plumbing Awards, and Plumber of the year in 2018. John joined us in 2015 after starting his plumbing career at only 14 years of age!! He has a proven track record in the industry and is a huge asset to JLN. Known as ‘Uncle John’ he is a very much loved member of the team, newly single, and in his words ‘ready to mingle’! John’s best moment at JLN was the Vaillant Trip to Germany, visiting the HQ of the Boiler Manufacturer and tasting the delights of Germany.

Scott joined JLN in 2016 and is primarily an installation engineer, although he is skilled in many other areas such as Unvented Cylinders and working at height. Scott has been a qualified engineer for over 11 years and thoroughly enjoys his role. Scott is a mentor to our apprentice Aaron and is enjoying showing Aaron the ropes.

The Hoff has been with JLN since August 2017. Scott came to JLN at one of our busiest times of the year, jumped straight in at the deep end and is an absolute star! Scott is a plumbing and heating engineer, he also specialises in bathroom installations and remodels. Take a look at our gallery to see just a small selection of Scott's work.

Craig has been in the trade for over 28 years, beginning as an apprentice at just 16 years old. Craig's favourite part of working with JLN is the sights he gets to see on his rounds and the best part of his job is fixing broken boilers and making a difference to our customers.

George is our newly qualified engineer and is a much-loved member of the JLN team (customers don’t mind him either). Even though he is now qualified and no longer our apprentice, he still doesn’t like Tea or Coffee, but we are working on him!! George enjoys spending time with friends and nights out

Connor has been with JLN since August 2016 and studies for his qualifications at Coventry City College. Connor hopes to qualify as a plumber by Winter 2018 and then progress on becoming a full Gas Engineer. Connor spends his time with various engineers, enabling him to pick up different skills and knowledge through all aspects of plumbing and heating and is enjoying learning whilst earning! Connor is a valued member of the team and we look forward to seeing him qualified.

Brendan joined JLN at the start of 2023 and is one of our boiler specialists. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Brendan has a wealth of knowledge of virtually all makes and models of Gas and Oil Fired boilers. Brendan says he enjoys working locally and loves the friendly team spirit between all staff at JLN.

Scott joined our team in 2022 and has worked with our Service Manager, Paul at a previous company. Scott carries out work to gas and oil boilers, from service to full system installations and is even registered for commercial gas works. You’ll find Scott on many jobs, from taps and toilets to full central heating systems and he’s proving to have a very broad skill set!
